California Road Trip -Walking Among Giants pt 1

Trees, trees, trees! Since I started visiting the US five years ago, I’ve dreamed of seeing these massive trees I’ve seen on pictures.

Now my dream came true. Mr. Z took me to Sequoia National Park – home of the giants.

Sequoia National Park was cool compared to the rest of California lowlands. There weren’t that many tourists either event though it was peak season. I highly recommend Sequoia. We could always find parking and it was not a hassle to stop and take pictures unlike our later trip to Yosemite (more on that in a later post).

This was the smallest tree we found! Baby sequoia is almost as tall as Mr. Z

Fallen Sequoia. Look at the size of that root. Could squash Mr. Z easily because he is not looking.

Found this gorgeous meadow when we were walking through the forest. It was very magical like we were in an Elvish kingdom.

The flowers are actually more brilliant here than the picture shows.
